About

Jaclyn Orchard has been working in clay since 2001, developing a deep passion for ceramics that has shaped both her artistic journey and teaching career. She studied Ceramics in Baltimore, MD, before immersing herself in the vibrant pottery scene of North Carolina—taking workshops, visiting local potters, attending markets and art shows, and expanding her skills through Penland School of Craft. As a former member of the Carolina Clay Matters Potters Guild, she engaged with a community of makers dedicated to the craft.

Since 2007, Jaclyn has been teaching high school ceramics (grades 9–12) in independent schools, sharing her expertise and fostering creativity in young artists. Now based in Tampa, FL, she continues to create, educate, and inspire through Creative Orchards, where her passion for ceramics and commitment to lifelong learning come together.
